Review:

This coffee has notes of cherries, lime, spices (pepper) and slight bitters. It has a decent aroma but the cup starts with a bitter note and turns a bit peppery. As the cup cools down, the cherry and lime notes start taking over, with the cup turning a bit complex. What is missing here is sweetness which could have made this coffee a winner. The coffee performs well at finer grind sizes and lower brew ratios. Ideal for manual brewing methods.

Balance: Bitter-complex acidity

Complexity: Medium

Best for: Pourover, Aeropress

Worst for: Espresso

Pro tips:

Go for a finer grind size

Use a brew ratio of 1:12 to 1:14

Final verdict: Moderately recommended
