Review:
This coffee can only work as a french press is what the cupping allowed me to understand. You need the oily to soothen the extremely bold flavours. It have heavy notes of chocolate, nuts and spices. The body is heavy as well. Coffee is not suitable for black but recommended to be paired with milk or with sweeter foods like cookies. The aftertaste is smoky and bitter.
Best for: South Indian Filter
Worst for: Pourover
Pro tips:
Food pairing becomes an important aspect in enjoying dark roasts. Use biscuits to cut, complement, contrast and comfort with the bitterness of this coffee
Use coarser grinds for a cleaner body
Final verdict: Not recommended. Better dark roasts available in the market.
