Review:
This coffee has notes of chocolate, citrus, nuts and a bit earthy too. The roaster mentions notes of dates, caramel, almonds and orange zest. While most of them are relatable, I could only get a weak note of dates and caramel, almost nil. There is a sweetness to it but much more relatable to milk chocolate. Has a juicy body and decent balance. The complexity is optimal given the nature of processing and type of coffee. Pretty straightforward coffee which goes well with desserts.
Best for: Pourovers, Aeropress
Worst for: Espresso
Pro tips:
This coffee pairs well with sweeter foods
Try brewing over ice to get an interesting bitter intensity to the overall complexity of this coffee
Final verdict: They do have better coffees. Might recommend others over this.
